Who we are
Study Supreme is a reading companion for the Supreme Wisdom Lessons, made and operated by Angelo Muhammad, doing business as Swift Originalz, in Atlanta, Georgia ("we," "us"). The app is for registered members of the Nation of Islam. Questions about this policy go to info@swiftoriginalz.com.
What we collect
- Who you are: your name, whether you are a Brother or a Sister, your email address, your phone number, and your date of birth.
- Your membership: your mosque number or study group name and your Nation's ID, so we can confirm that you are a registered member.
- Your reading: which day of the Book you completed and how long it took. Your awards, certificates, and the reading in progress stay on your phone.
- Your phone: a secret code that ties your account to this one phone, your phone's name as iOS reports it, and your app version. The code never leaves your phone; our servers hold only a scrambled fingerprint of it. If a future version of iOS cannot protect the lessons on screen, we record that iOS version number. We do not collect your location.
- Screenshots: if a screenshot is taken while the app is open, we record that it happened, when, and which portion of the Book was on screen. The lessons are for study within the app.
- Your photo, if you add one, stays on your phone. We never receive it.
- Face ID or your passcode is checked by iOS on your phone. We never receive your face, your fingerprint, or your passcode.
Why we collect it
- To confirm your registration and keep the app for members only.
- To sign you in with a code sent to your email or phone, and to keep your account on one phone.
- To greet you properly, keep your place in the Book, and issue your certificates.
- To send your daily reminder at the time you choose, only if you turn reminders on. Reminders are made on your phone; nothing is sent from our servers.
- To keep the Lessons within the app for registered members.
- To answer when you contact us.
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. There are no ads, no trackers, and no analytics services in the app.
Verification
A member of our team confirms your Nation's ID and mosque with your mosque secretary's office. Your ID is used for that and for nothing else. Until it is confirmed, your status is "pending" and you can read from day one. If your registration cannot be confirmed, the app tells you, and you can contact your mosque or us.
Where your information lives
Your account, verification, and reading records are kept on servers run for us by Supabase on Amazon Web Services in the United States (Northern Virginia). Sign-in emails are delivered by Resend, and sign-in text messages by Twilio. Each provider sees only what it needs to do its job: an email address to deliver an email, a phone number to deliver a text. Information is encrypted on the way to our servers and while stored there. Only the people who run Study Supreme can see your record, and only to verify members and support you.
Your reading in progress, awards, certificates, reminder settings, and photo are stored on your phone and protected by your phone's own security.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Deleting your account in Settings removes everything from your phone and signs you out. To have your record removed from our servers as well, email info@swiftoriginalz.com from your registered address; we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers named above, under agreements that limit them to working for us; with your mosque secretary's office, solely to confirm your membership; and where required by law. We never share it with anyone else.
Children
Study Supreme is for members age 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Your choices and rights
- Correct your details in Settings at any time.
- Turn reminders on or off at any time.
- Move your account to a new phone with the move code in Settings.
- Delete your account from Settings, and ask us to delete your server record.
- Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights; email us to use them and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect, and the date at the top will change.
